BioCreated this blog mainly for the benefit of 1st and 2nd year UEA AMS students who are taking the year in America. They guide you through the application process, getting a visa, and setting up in the country, but they never tell you how to make a quesedilla, what a Twinkee is or what the rules of American Football are. Et cetera.
That's what this is here for! I'm aiming to put together a blow-by-blow account of being oh so terribly English in the most American place on Earth: America.
Oh, and just in case you were wondering,
-Grate a load of cheese onto a tortilla wrap, put another wrap on top and bung it in the microwave till it's melted, add extras as necessary
-It's a creamy, pastry type "Thing" which I suspect is unfit for human consumption. Approximately the same amount of calories as, say, Birmingham.
-No-one will ever know the rules of American Football. But in short, rugby for wusses.
